I watched Vampire Hunter D and I’m absolutely obsessed with the visual style. Spending some free time boarding a short sequence inspired by that dark, gothic aesthetic.

This project was inspired by the Monuments Men, an organization I read about that worked to protect important works of art during the Nazi era. I wanted to reinterpret this concept in my own way and develop it into a stylish, action-driven animation.
